Here we present the latest official report of AARO on his work about the UAP, the amount of cases received, the relationships of the Office with other national entities, and the four Divisions that are part of AARO, plus an example of identification about which we are critical because we consider it more speculative that realistic, an totally insufficient.

Yesterday the Department of Defense and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence delivered to Congress the Annual Report on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) as required by the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2022, as amended by the NDAA for Fiscal Year 2023.
Analyzing and understanding the potential threats posed by UAP is an ongoing collaborative effort involving many departments and agencies, and the Department thanks the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and other contributing departments and agencies for their collaborative efforts to produce this report.
The safety of our service personnel, our bases and installations, and the protection of U.S. operations security on land, in the skies, seas, and space are paramount. We take reports of incursions into our designated space, land, sea, or airspaces seriously and examine each one.
The All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) is leading DOD's efforts, in coordination with ODNI and other government agencies, to document, analyze, and when possible, resolve UAP reports using a rigorous scientific framework and a data-driven approach. This year's UAP report covers UAP reports from Aug. 31, 2022, to April 30, 2023, as well as any UAP report from previous time periods that were not included in an earlier report. AARO received a total of 291 UAP reports in this time period, consisting of 274 that occurred during this period and another 17 that occurred from 2019-2022 but had not been included in previous annual reports. This brought the total cases that AARO has been reviewing to over 800 as of April 30, 2023.

To all those who have been following all the instances of the official reaction to the US Navy pilot's report of UAPs, the pace of the information received through time has become very slow, and practically inexistent.
Let´s try to quickly review what happened so far about the official UAP investigation.
Everything started after April 27, 2017, when the newspapers The New York Times and The Washington Post published articles dealing with videos apparently showing UAPs. The videos were taken in 2004 and 2015.
On August 4, 2020, the U.S. Navy created the UAP Task Force (UAPTF).
On June 25, 2021, the UAPTF brought a report to the Senate of the United States.
The acronym AOIMSG stands for Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group. This organization within the Department of Defense will stay until July 15, 2022, when it is announced the creation of the A.A.R.O., All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office.
On April 19, 2023, there takes place an important hearing of the Armed Services Senate subcommittee, chaired by U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, where Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, Director of AARO gives a detailed report about how the Office is organized, what has been so far its work and what it knows about UAP, which included various graphics.

On June 9, 2022, NASA convened a group of scientists, chaired by Dr. David Spergel, to essentially consider what contribution NASA could make as such, to help elucidate the mystery posed by the existence of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).
Answering the question "What keeps you up at night" Dr. Kirkpatrick replied: "Technical surprise and that could be adversary technical surprise or extraterrestrial technical surprise."
The most common misconception people have about UAPs is that "they are all the same thing and they are all extraterrestrial and neither of that is true."
It was during this interview that Dr. Kirkpatrick admitted that there is a 2 to 5% of UAP that so far has been not identified.
On July 26, 2023, there was a surprising hearing of the House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Accountability with the presence of two UAP witnesses, the former U.S. Navy Pilots, the retired Commander David Fravor, and Ryan Graves, as well as the "whistleblower" and former Intelligence Officer of the U.S. Air Force, David Grusch.

And until today, nothing else happened related to those fantastic declarations. The world didn't care about the possible existence of extraterrestrials among us, nor about recovered material of their presumed ships.
And here in the United States that particular subject didn't attract such an attention that even today —three months later— there were a matter of discussion or interest.
But, after the hearing of July 26 above mentioned, on July 27, 2023, Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, wrote a personal note where without mentioning Officer Grusch by name, he complained about the treatment of the UAP subject by the legislators that ignored the intricacies of the issue, and specifically about Mr. Grusch.
On that note Dr. Kirkpatrick says: "I cannot let yesterday's hearing pass without sharing how insulting it was to the officers of the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community who chose to join AARO," adding that many of his staff have worked "often in the face of harassment and animosity, to satisfy their Congressionally-mandated mission."
Moreover, Dr.Kirkpatrick added: "Allegations by its witnesses of retaliation, to include physical assault and hints of murder, are extraordinarily serious, which is why law enforcement is a critical member of the AARO team, specifically to address and take swift action should anyone come forward with such claims. Yet, contrary to assertions made in the hearing, the central source of those allegations has refused to speak with AARO."
That "central source" mentioned in the note, was Mr.Grusch.
At the end of the note, Dr. Kirkpatrick wrote: "Finally, to be clear, AARO has yet to find any credible evidence to support the allegations of any reverse engineering program for non-human technology. Also, to be clear, none of the whistleblowers from yesterday's hearing ever worked for AARO or was ever a representative of AARO, contrary to statements made in testimony and in the media." Once again, a clear reference to Mr. Grusch.
On September 14, 2023, the special panel of scientists convened by NASA to deal with the UAP, made publicly known its work for almost 3 months.

A document created by AARO in July 2013, was made public at the end of September 2023, under the title "The US Defense Department and the UAP Mission" signed by Seán Kirkpatrick, Ph.D. Director, AARO.
It consists of 12 pages dealing with the organization of AARO, its analysis capabilities, the study of UAP reports, and how some of them have been explained and some others not. It gives information about the main characteristics of the UAP, shapes, colors, speeds, areas of frequent detection, etc
We arrived in October 2023, and the AARO promised report for June or July was not presented.
Currently, we are waiting for an AARO report to be released at the end of the year, on December 2023, according to the announcement done by Dr. Kirkpatrick.
The expectation and the frustration
Until December 2023 –unless something spectacular happens related to UAPs—there is and will be silence. No one officially will bring any updates, any information, or any breakthrough.
Therefore, there exists a process of deception, lack of trust, and anxiety on the part of the general public, who wants to know something more specific and concrete about the UAP.
On the other hand, the media in general do not help to give science the needed time to work exhaustively on the subject to be able to say something specific and concrete about it.
And then, those individuals that exert a conspirative way of thinking, exploit in their favor the situation, accusing "the government" of deliberately hiding or distorting the truth about UAP. They are propelling fantastic stories about extraterrestrials of various civilizations visiting regularly the Earth, and losing their ships where they came from, which have been subject to reverse engineering, and after being flown by military pilots.
These are the kind of individuals that are introduced by the media as UAP "experts" or "investigators". They are invited to news bulletins, and special programs, and specifically created radio and TV programs to deal with UAP.
The damage they create among the public is enormous, the distortion of reality, confusion, lack of respect for the true investigators, etc. becomes something difficult to cope with.
To make it clear: the silence of official sources about the UAP opens the door to any kind of speculation.
We consider that this is not favorable for the study and investigation of the UAP subject, and –although undesirable— it creates increasing pressure on scientists and Intelligence people dedicated to identifying these phenomena.
That is why we suggest that the official reports, should be accompanied by the presence of Dr.Kirkpatrick and Mr.McInerney in the media, regularly, to answer questions of the journalists and make precisions of terms, definitions, and clarify the work they are doing at AARO and NASA.
That would turn efficiently the consideration of the UAP subject by the media to the appropriate approach that it deserves and would be of extraordinary help to the public.
An educated public won't be useful for the sellers of fantasy and mystery. This task must be done!
Para todos quienes hemos estado siguiendo todas las instancias de la reacción oficial al reporte de UAP de los pilotos de la Marina de Guerra de EE.UU., el ritmo de la información recibida a lo largo del tiempo ha devenido muy lento, y prácticamente inexistente.
Tratemos de repasar rápidamente lo que ha sucedido hasta ahora acerca de la investigación oficial de UAP.
Todo comenzó después del 27 de Abril de 2017, cuando los diarios The New York Times y The Washington Post, publicaron artículos con videos aparentemente mostrando UAPs. Los videos fueron obtenidos en 2004 y 2015.
El 4 de Agosto de 2020, la Marina de Guerra de EE.UU. creó el Grupo de Trabajo sobre UAP (UAPTF).
El Junio 25 de 2021, el UAPTF presentó un informe al Senado de Estados Unidos.
La sigla AOIMSG corresponde a Grupo de Identificación de Objeto Aerotransportado y Sincronización de Gestión. Esta organización dentro del Departamento de Defensa permanecerá hasta el 15 de Julio de 2022, cuando se anuncia la creación de la A.A.R.O.,Oficina de Resolución de Anomalías en Todos los Ámbitos.

Al final de la audiencia el Dr. Kirkpatrick dijo que en Junio o Julio, la AARO presentaría un informe de su trabajo.
El 20 de Julio 20 de 2023, el Dr.Kirkpatrick es entrevistado por David Muir, en el progama News Live Prime de la cadena ABC. Durante unaconversación de 8 minutos y 40 segundos, el Dr.Kirkpatrick dijo
Contestando a la pregunta: “¿Qué no le deja a dormir de noche?”, el Dr. Kirkpatrick contestó: “Una sorpresa técnica que puede ser una sorpresa técnica de un adversario o una sorpresa técnica extraterrestre.”
El error de concepto más común que tiene la gente sobre los UAP es que “son todos lo mismo y son todos extraterrestres, y nada de eso es verdad.”
Fue durante esta entrevista que el Dr.Kirkpatrick admitió que hay de un 2 a un 5% de UAP que hasta ahora no ha sido identificado.
El 26 de Julio de 2023, hubo una sorprendente audiencia del Comité de Supervisión y Responsabilidad de la Cámara de Representants, con la presencia de dos testigos de UAP, los ex – pilotos de la

Los pilotos hablaron sobre sus experiencias con los UAP, y Grusch repitió su extravagante testimonio de que varias personas le dijeron acerca de entidades “no-humanas” y tecnología “no-humana” recuperada de caída de OVNIs, aunque ni siquiera una foto de algo como eso fue presentada. La falta de evidencia fue total.
Y hasta ahora, nada ha sucedido en relación a esas fantásticas declaraciones. Al mundo no le preocupó sobre la posible existencia de extraterrestres entre nosotros, y tampoco de material recuperado de sus supuestas naves.
Y aquí en Estados Unidos ese tema en particular no atrajo tal atención como para que aún hoy –tres meses después—fuese un tema de discusión o interés.
Pero, luego de la audiencia del 26 de Julio, el 27 de Julio de 2023, el Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, escribió una nota personal donde sin mencionar al Oficial Grusch por nombre, se quejó acerca del tratamiento del tema UAP por legisladores que ignoraron las complejidades del tema, y específicamente sobre el Sr.Grusch.
En esa nota el Dr.Kirkpatrick dice: “No puedo dejar pasar la audiencia de ayer sin compartir cuán insultante fue para los oficiales del Departamento de Defensa y de la Comunidad de Inteligencia que eligieron unirse a la AARO,” añadiendo que mucho de su personal ha trabajado “a menudo en medio de acoso y hostilidad, para satisfacer su misión ordenada por el Congreso.”
Más aún, el Dr.Kirkpatrick añadió: “Las acusaciones por sus testigos de represalia, para incluir asalto físico y agresión y sugerencias de asesinato, son extraordinariamente graves, por lo cual la aplicación de la ley es un miembro crítico del equipo de AARO, específicamente para encarar y tomar rápida acción si alguien llega a presentar tales denuncias. No obstante, contrariamente a las afirmaciones hechas en la audiencia, la fuente central de tales denuncias se ha negado a hablar con AARO.”
Esa “fuente central” mencionada en la nota, era el Sr.Grusch.
Al final de la nota, el Dr.Kirkpatrick escribió: “Finalmente, para ser claro, AARO aún tiene que encontrar alguna evidencia creíble que apoye los alegatos de algún programa de ingeniería en reverso para tecnología no-humana. También, para ser claro, ninguno de los informantes de la audiencia de ayer ha trabajado para la AARO o alguna vez fue representante de AARO, contrariamente a las declaraciones hechas en testimonio y en los medios.” Una vez más, una clara referencia al Sr.Grusch.
El 14 de Septiembre de 2023, el panel de científicos reunidos por la NASA para considerar el tema UAP, hizo públicamente conocido su trabajo de casi 3 meses.

McInerney previamente sirvió como contacto con el Departamento de Defensa cubriendo limitadas actividades sobre UAP para la agencia. Como director centralizará comunicaciones, recursos y capacidad de análisis de datos a fin de establecer una base de datos robusta para la evaluación de futuros UAP.
Un documento creado por la AARO en Julio de 2013, se hizo público a fines de Septiembre de 2023, bajo el título ”El Departamento de Defensa y la Misión UAP” firmado por Seán Kirkpatrick, Ph.D. Director, AARO.
El mismo consiste de 12 páginas tratando sobre la organización de AARO, su capacidad de análisis, el estudio de las denuncias de UAP, y cómo algunas de ellas han sido explicadas y otras no. Da información sobre las principales características de los UAP, formas, colores, velocidades, áreas de frecuente detección, etc.
Llegamos a Octubre de 2013, y el informe de la AARO prometido para Junio o Julio no fue presentado.
Actualmente, estamos esperando por un informe de la AARO que se presente a fin de año, en Diciembre 2023, según anuncio hecho por el Dr. Kirkpatrick.
La expectativa y la frustración
Hasta Diciembre de 2023 –a menos que algo espectacular ocurra relacionado con los UAPs— hay y habrá silencio. Nadie oficialmente brindará ninguna actualización, ninguna información o descubrimiento.
Por lo tanto, existe un proceso de decepción, falta de confianza, y ansiedad de parte del público en general, que quiere saber algo más específico y concreto acerca de los UAP.
Por otra parte, los medios en general no ayudan a darle a la ciencia el tiempo necesario para trabajar exhaustivamente sobre el tema para poder decir algo específico y concreto sobre el mismo.
Y entonces, individuos que ejercen una forma conspirativa de pensar, explotan en su favor la situación, acusando “al gobierno” de deliberadamente ocultar o distorsionar la verdad sobre los UAP. Ellos están impulsando fantásticas historias sobre extraterrestres de varias civilizaciones visitando regularmente la Tierra, y perdiendo sus naves cuando llegaron, las cuales han sido objeto de ingeniería revertida, y luego han sido volados por pilotos militares.
Ese es el tipo de individuos que son presentados por los medios como “expertos” o “investigadores” de UAP. Son invitados a informativos y programas especiales, y programas de radio y TV específicamente creados para tratar sobre los UAP.
El daño que crean entre el público es enorme, la distorsión de la realidad, la confusión, la falta de respeto a los verdaderos investigadores, etc. resulta algo difícil de sobrellevar.
Para decirlo claro: el silencio de fuentes oficiales sobre los UAP abre la puerta a toda clase de especulación.
Consideramos que esto no es favorable para el estudio y la investigación del tema UAP, y –aunque no deseada— crea creciente presión sobre científicos y personal de Inteligencia dedicado a identificar estos fenómenos.
Es por esto que sugerimos que los informes oficiales deberían ser acompañados por la presencia del Dr. Kirkpatrick y el Sr. McInerney en los medios, regularmente, para responder a preguntas de los periodistas y hacer precisión sobre palabras, y definiciones, y clarificar el trabajo que están haciendo en la AARO y la NASA.
Eso modificaría eficazmente la consideración del tema UAP por los medios hacia el enfoque apropiado que merece y sería de extraordinaria ayuda para el público.
Un público educado no sería útil para los vendedores de fantasía y misterio. ¡Esta tarea debe hacerse!
