UAPSG-URUGUAY: A REWARDING EXPERIENCE

From midst of February to the end of March, I have been in Uruguay, visiting friends and family, and also colleagues in the UAP area.

As a result of this visit, the Uruguayan branch of the UAPSG had a very important meeting where two experts on the subject who have been members of CIOVI for 30 years, joined the Group.

As we welcome Luis Alberto González, and Arch. Sergio Olivera, we wish good luck to the group that will be meeting every third Wednesday of each month at the Montevideo Planetarium.

MYSTICAL TRIPS

 While in Montevideo, I’ve found a business place that deals with many kinds of esoteric issues and alternative therapies. Among the services this people bring there are what they call “mystical trips” to some particular places.

Those places have been wrongfully associated with UAPs, and commercially exploited in what we consider an infamous trade with the credulity of certain people.

One of the things that caught my attention and shocked me was to know the prices for those trips.  

They charge the equivalent to 674 US dollars to go to Capilla del Monte in Cordoba, Argentina, where there is the Uritorco hill, an “see” the so-called “intraterrain city of Erks” a myth created locally by one of the many swindlers that “guide” people ready to believe in whatever tale is told to them.

The other place of economic exploitation is the Father Pio place, across the La Aurora ranch, where since the seventies a myth have been developed about the presence of extraterrestrial ships, energetic vortices, etc.etc. The trip is short, it is within the Uruguayan territory and they charge 242 US dollars.

We think that authorities should put an end to this fraud.

AN INTERVIEW WITH A TEAM OF “THE HISTORY CHANNEL”

I thank Engr. Adolfo Gandín Ocampo who suggested my name to be included in a 10 chapter’s series prepared by the History Channel that is going to be broadcasted on TV stations throughout Latin America, starting on June, 2013.

I made a quick trip to Buenos Aires, from where I returned in the same day to Montevideo, and I was interviewed by Mr. Jorge Luis Suckdorf, in charge of the project.

We dealt with many issues related directly or indirectly with the UAPs, and as usual, I gave my pondered and sincere opinion about all of them.

Now we expect to see the series and verify where and how I will appear. 

I extend my special thanks to Jorge Luis and his wife Veronica for their kind reception.

LECTURE AT A ROTARY CLUB

Kindly invited by the “Villa Colón Melilla” Rotary Club, (thanks to the efficient steps taken by our colleague Mr. Gonzalo Piano) I gave there a lecture about the Unusual Arial Phenomena investigation and study, with special reference to the UAPSG.

A very receptive attendance followed with real interest my exposition after which they pose good questions.

I want to thank warmly the President and members of that Rotary Club for such a fruitful meeting, and I wish them success in their endeavors.

U.A.P.S.G.- G.E.F.A.I. NEW MEMBER

We are glad to announce that Mr. Luis Emilio Annino, from the Province of Mendoza, Argentina, is a new member of our Group.

News in the media caught his attention about the U.A.P. subject when he was just 7 years old, as it has happened with many of us.

Later in his life, he has dedicated to read a lot about Aeronautics, Astronautics, Geopolitics and Defense.

Currently he is giving classes of Geography and History, and he is preparing his last thesis on Geography to obtain his Master degree.

Now he is active in the U.A.P. field. In October 2010 he started his own blog under the title of “Órbita Cero Mendoza” (Mendoza Zero Orbit) as a way to publish news about the subject. 

He is a member of CEFORA, a Commission which tries to obtain the declassification of Argentinean military documents related to U.A.P. cases, and in January of 2012 he started a deliberative group, connected with similar groups in his country and Le Répas Ufologique directed by Gérard Lébat in France.

Currently they are organizing sky watch operations in places considered “hot” for the potential presence of U.A.P.s.

We welcome Mr. Annino to the U.A.P.S.G., and we look forward to work together, relying on his talent and also to have his contributions to our blog.

This Wednesday 13: free talk about UFOs in Uruguay

Organized by Mr. Germán Vázquez and Mr. Rafael Forli, two UAPSG members in Montevideo, Uruguay, this Wednesday, June 13, is going to take place a brand new experience in that country.

The possibility that people seriously interested in the UFO subject could meet together to share experiences, observations, photos, videos, ideas, proposals, etc.

This is going to happen at the “Decano” barbecue and pizza parlor, at 4943 Orinoco St. (in the intersection with Michigan St.) in the Malvin neighborhood.

All interested in participate are cordially invited. The meeting will be open at 7pm and will end at 8:30pm

Welcome to I.D.R.E.C.

We welcome the Argentinean group I.D.R.E.C. as a new member of UAPSG-GEFAI.

The acronym I.D.R.E.C. means Investigation and Documentation of Strange things in the Sky.

They work with a night viewfinder connected with a video system.

They want to give to the subject a clear scientific approach. They constitute their group with professionals. They are a Meteorologist, a pilot and a physicist.

When they record something rare, they sent the images through e-mail to those professionals. If they do not find anything strange, the video is left there without more consideration. But if any of them is not able to recognize what has been recorded, they upload it to the Internet with the analysis of those professionals, the ones who cannot identify what has been recorded and those who think they can do an identification. Then they left that each person could arrive to his/her own conclusion.

We wish to I.D.R.E.C. a fruitful work, through which they could be able to find irrefutable evidence about the presence and activity of Unusual Aerial Phenomena.

U.A.P.S.G. ESSENTIALS

1) The U.A.P.S.G. is international.

2) All its members are called to do research, investigation and analysis through personal interviews, the Internet, using libraries, the reading of books and scientific papers, the use of software, etc. and to share the results of that task.

3) The key points of our work are:

• To keep track of the state-of-the-art technologies, especially in the areas or air and space
• Be aware about phenomena that could be considered unusual and that is happening in very specific places on Earth that demand or have encouraged an investigation “in situ”
• To be aware of the latest theories in Physics which try to explain reality and the universe
• To propose and carry out as much as possible the observation, recording, measuring, the taking of the spectrogram, sound and distance of certain phenomena that could be of interest, hoping that the data so collected would be later analyzed by scientists to come to a conclusion. (Dr. Massimo Teodorani’s “Physics from the UFO Data” is a masterpiece on this activity).
