COMPAÑÍADE COHETES PRUEBA PODEROSO MOTOR DE IONES

Desde el 2005 la empresa Ad Astra Rocket,fundada por el ex astronauta Franklin Chang-Díaz, está trabajando para perfeccionar un tipo de motor que llama VASIMR (Cohete de Magnetoplasma de Impulso Específico Variable).

Ahora la compañía con el motor VX-200 alcanzó los 201 kilovatios en una cámara de vacío en Houston, superando la marca de los 200 kilovatios por primera vez.

NEW VISIT TO THE National Air & Space Museum

It has been a long while that I have not visited the National Air & Space Museum in Washington D.C.

That –of course— against my will, but anyhow, that was the situation until yesterday I decided to go.

It is out of question that it has been and always will be my favorite museum.

And a huge surprise was expecting
me there. I will only tell you that there were various UAVs in exhibition, something that never happened before.

And I couldn’t stop taking pictures of them, besides the impact of been able to see them not in pictures or in videos, but in reality.

It was fantastic!

It is also the Hubble Space Telescope in full size.

Now I share with you some of those pictures, and invite you to come to Washington D.C. and to visit the National Air & Space Museum, pretty sure that it will be an unforgettable experience in your life

NUEVA VISITA AL Museo Nacional Aéreo y Espacial

Hacía mucho tiempo que no visitaba el Museo Nacional Aéreo y Espacial en Washington, D.C.

Eso –por supuesto-- contra mi voluntad, pero de cualquier manera, esa era la situación hasta ayer en que decidí ir.

Y una enorme sorpresa me estaba esperando. Sólo les diré que había varios Vehículos Aéreos No-Tripulados (UAVS) en exhibición, algo que nunca ocurrió antes.

No pude parar de tomar fotografías de ellos, aparte del impacto de poder verlos no en fotos o en videos, sino en la realidad. ¡Fue fantástico!

También está el Telescopio Espacial Hubble a tamaño natural.

Ahora comparto con ustedes algunas de esas fotos, y les invito a venir a Washington D.C. y a visitar el Museo Nacional Aéreo y Espacial, bien seguro de que será una experiencia inolvidable en sus vidas.
